NCCCO at CONEXPO 2017 Video
CONEXPO 2017 was held March 7–11 in Las Vegas, NV. The once-every-three-years equipment showcase featured over 2,500 exhibitors and drew over 130,000 attendees.
As the dust settled on one of the most successful CONEXPO shows ever, it became clear that there had never been as much interest in CCO certification at a construction event in NCCCO’s 22-year history. True, NCCCO had never been as “present” at such an event before, with activities occurring in as many as five different locations around the 2.8 million-plus net square feet of exhibit space at any one time.
But whether it was the innovation or the relevance of NCCCO’s exhibit and demonstrations, or even OSHA’s November deadline for crane operators to be certified, visitors beat a path to the Lift Safety Zone in the Gold Lot to learn more about CCO certification and safe crane operations as never before. And by kicking off – and concluding – its CONEXPO presence with Practical Examiner Workshops (held before and after the show), NCCCO provided an opportunity for budding practical examiners to become trained and authorized to administer CCO certification exams without missing a moment on the show floor.
